Bali`s North coast offers some outstanding snorkel and dive sites which are very popular worldwide. First to mention is the spectacular Menjangan Wall - a steep wall at Bali`s North West coast close to the small island Menjangan which is also a very nice snorkel area. Another spectacular dive site is the "USS Liberty" ship wreck at Bali`s North East coast at the village Tulamben. The wreck is a world war II ship wreck torpedoed by a japanese submarine torpedo during the second world war. Amed in East Bali is a very popular spot for snorkeling.
